Existem duas mudanças principais anunciadas na manhã deste 22 de fevereiro de 2021 que estão provocando o aumento da cotação de CRO. Vamos lá:
CRO Burn
Hoje no blog de Crypto.com foi anunciada a maior queima de token da história. Praticamente estão tirando de circulação 70 bilhões de CRO do mercado em duas fases: a primeira acontece hoje com a queima de 59,6 bilhões de CRO. Os restantes 10,4 bilhões vão ser queimados mensalmente assim que forem desbloqueados.
De acordo com o comunicado oficial é um passo importante para centralizar a rede com o lançamento Mainnet. Abaixo colo o comunicado oficial.

70 billion CRO will be burned according to the following schedule:
59.6 billion will be burned today, 22nd Feb, 2021.
10.4 billion is currently locked in a smart contract and will be burned monthly, as it gets unlocked.
This will increase the circulating supply of CRO from current 24% to over 80%.
The remaining 5.9 billion CRO supply will be distributed as follows:
5 billion CRO will be allocated to mainnet block rewards for Chain validators and delegators which helps secure the network.
0.9 billion CRO will be allocated to Particle B for Chain ecosystem development.
And that’s it.
That’s 100%.100% circulating supply.

CRO lança Mainnet no dia 25 de março de 2021
Outra novidade interessante é o lançamento da Mainnet no dia 25 de março de 2021. Ou seja: foi anunciado que “será lançada uma rede completamente descentralizada, open source e de alta velocidade e baixas taxas de transação para pagamentos, DeFi e NFTs. Em linha com o espírito de descentralizar, a Mainnet será lançada como uma Crypto.org chain e terá a Crypto.org Coin (CRO) como moeda nativa.
A Crypto.org chain será uma blockchain pública, open-source and permissionless projetada para ajudar na adoção maciça da tecnologia blockchain.
